O-I has more than a century of experience crafting pure, sustainable, brand-building glass packaging for many of the world’s best-known food and beverage brands. We are proud to provide high quality glass packaging for beer, wine, spirits, food, non-alcoholic beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. The Packaging Palletizer Operator loads cartons, carriers, partitions onto carton assembler, carrier erector, partition inserter and sees that these machines and line conveyors continue to operate and function as designed to do. The Packaging Palletizer Operator will: * Turn off equipment in case of malfunction and notifies supervisor or Maintenance. Check for tab locks. * Unjam machines and conveyors by stopping it and removing materials. * Inspect and observe cartons, carriers, partitions for obvious defects, check fiber tears and Glue Pattern; notify supervisor of any defects found and records on carton quality check sheet. Discard defective cartons to waste bins. * Remove wrap and straps from pallet load, cut bands. Unload cartons and carriers from pallets. * Checks and keeps automatic glue dispenser operating and filled with glue. The Packaging Palletizer Operator should have: * Previous manufacturing experience is preferred. * Ability to work 12-hour, rotating shifts. ## Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED * Must be at least 18 years of age * Must be able to work a 12-hour night shift, as well as holidays and weekends as required * Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis To be considered for this opportunity, please submit an online application.
