Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur; clear machine jams; report malfunctions; Inspect, remove defective packaging material; recognize that there is a problem at hand and report to supervisor/manager; Takes appropriate action to ensure the integrity and sustained certification of the SQF system; Responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring
Must be able to safely lift 30 – 60 pound boxes constantly during course of shift, Lift, stack and place boxes weighing up to 60 pound boxes, Rubber Boots, Hard hat, Hair net, Facial net if facial hair, Frock, Safety glasses/Goggles, Ear protection, Non-Slip steel toed boots/shoes, Disposable Apron, Bump Cap, Safety Harness

Must Have
Ability to read basic English labels, Ability to follow all safety and quality policies and procedures, Ability to see details at close range, Ability to recognize that there is a problem at hand and report to supervisor/manager, Control Precision, Static Strength, Reaction time, Lift, stack and place boxes weighing up to 60 pound boxes
Nice to Have
Knowledge and Understanding of HAACP and SQF Certification, Bilingual: Spanish, Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Ability to work on a fast paced line
What You'll Do.
Package eggs and egg products
Operate filling equipment
Perform proper labeling
Perform date code and lot tracking
Ensure finished product quality
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
Build pallets of packaged products
Perform sanitation of packaging equipment
Perform minor maintenance of packaging equipment
Maintain cleanliness of work area
Maintain readiness of machinery
Maintain readiness of building
Stock and sort product for packaging
Replenish packaging supplies
Package product in boxes
Package product in bags
Stop machines when malfunctions occur
Reset machines when malfunctions occur
Report malfunctions to manager/supervisor/maintenance
Inspect packaging material
Remove defective packaging material
Place defective packaging material to a safe side
Communicate defect to supervisor
Start machine by engaging controls
Assist with training of additional packagers
Package product for shipment
Record all information per training
Attach identification labels to finished packaged items
Clean packaging containers
Prepare packaging containers for product packing
Perform quality activities
Participate in training sessions
Participate in employee activity teams
Follow company Good Manufacturing Practices
Follow Food Safety programs
Follow all Safety Procedures
Follow all Bio-Security Procedures
Follow all Environmental Procedures
