Full Job Description
P-8A Support Equipment Tech Keflavik, Iceland **Company:** Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a **Mid -Level Support Equipment Technician** to support the USN P-8 program located in **Jacksonville, FL.** **This is a long term assignment to Keflavik, Iceland subject to business conditions and individual performance. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international relocation will be provided.** **Position Responsibilities:** * Assist the Lead Technician as needed in daily accomplishments and tasking * Maintain a limited number of systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components * Troubleshoot problems to isolate faulty components * Conduct routine functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment * Perform a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents * Document maintenance and inspection actions as required * Create and maintain maintenance, calibration and inventory tracking systems * At the sole discretion of leadership, employee must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work.
