What You'll Do.

Provide high-impact training

and mission-ready instruction for P-3 Orion aircrews supporting U. S. government operations

Instructing and evaluating pilots' knowledge of P-3 Orion aircraft systems and normal flight and emergency procedures in both classroom and aircraft simulator environments

Lead classroom and flight instruction blocks focusing on such topics as: aircraft systems

and emergency scenarios

Accurately evaluating pilot competency across aircraft operations

and all positional skills as defined by CBP/AMO policies

Maintaining proficiency and demonstrating all normal and emergency maneuvers in the P-3 Operational Flight Simulator in accordance with the P-3 Operators Manual

experience-appropriate simulator scenarios and training events for flight crews of all levels

Developing and updating lesson plans

and uploading completed materials to OpSTAR

Serving as a subject-matter advisor on P-3 training materials

and related documentation

Managing training calendars to ensure all PIC/SIC events are completed within each course cycle

Providing simulator training and proficiency certification for new P-3 simulator users

including AMO personnel and external partners
