Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons, frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles, noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy, exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, 20-30 pounds of force frequently, greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry push, pull, or otherwise move objects, use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel, frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required, Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills, Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company, Effective communication skills (oral and written), Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations, computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems, Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines, Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons
Nice to Have
preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment
What You'll Do.
Directing and overseeing warehouse operations
Supervising warehouse specialists
Manage daily freight schedule
Responsible for daily scheduling of warehouse personnel
Direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse
Responsible for the warehouse as it pertains to Storage Buy transactions
Responsible for maintenance of warehouse equipment
Responsible for warehouse safety programs
Ensure all associates are trained and following all standard operating procedures
Responsible for the progressive disciplinary process
Handle general employee inquiries and solves problems
Coordinate with other departments
Complete necessary Activity Reports for management
Monitor the flow of paperwork
Resolve discrepancies with shipping
Responsible for the execution of the Storage Buy Audit COP
Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection
Ensure products are stored properly
Oversee the rotation of inventories
Perform other related duties
