At Iron Horse, we are committed to reliable equipment, responsive support, and helping our clients protect both their operations and the environment. The Outside Sales Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with municipalities, consulting engineers, and local general contractors within the municipal market to drive sales and provide solutions throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, Northern Delaware, Southern New Jersey. Success in this role requires strong time management, self-motivation, organization, conflict resolution, and follow-through skills. This is an outside sales position that involves regular interaction with consultants, wastewater treatment plant personnel, and contractors. Direct sales and plant-level activities require in-person consultation, product demonstrations, troubleshooting, and problem-solving expertise. ## What You'll Do Develop and strengthen relationships with existing end users, contractors, and engineers while cultivating new business opportunities and long-term partnerships. Provide engineers and end users with professional product recommendations, technical support, and consistent follow-up to ensure successful project execution and maximize sales growth. Take initiative in scheduling customer meetings, coordinating product presentations and promotional events, and maintaining regular communication with your customer base.
