What You'll Do.
Planning and coordinating material flow from raw forgings through finished machined parts via the Outside Processing (OSP) / outsourcing supply chain
Ensuring purchase orders are in place
Releasing material on time
Tracking machining activities in line with ERP priorities and execution plans
Coordinating the release of work orders and move orders
Maintaining commitment dates for all OSP-machined items
Maintaining the OSP tracker on a daily basis
Driving actions related to material issue
Ensuring correct priorities are set with the sourcing team
Highlighting any PO pull-in requirements
Sharing visibility of forging status with sourcing teams
Owning planner codes for all OSP-machined items within scope
Creating work orders and OSP purchase requisitions
and issues to the Production Control Leader and Material Planning Leader
Liaising with manufacturing engineers to ensure routings are completed on time
Maintaining work-order commitment dates for all OSP machining items
Reporting status and actions during Weekly Tollgate and MSOW meetings
