What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Two years of experience developing and building relationships with veterans, or veteran’s or military organizations, or members of the community., One year of experience with computer software, e.g. , Microsoft Word and Outlook., High school diploma or GED., Valid state-issued driver’s license., Ability to obtain ASIST Certification within 1 year of hire.
Nice to Have
Three years of experience working with military or veteran populations., Two years of experience planning events or community activities., Bachelor’s degree., ASIST Certification.
What You'll Do.
Connect with wounded service members and families.
Communicate WWP programs and services.
Recruit wounded warriors for events.
Plan local or regional events.
Coordinate and execute Alumni events.
Develop virtual programming content.
Assess needs of Alumni.
Identify community events.
Communicate and network with wounded warriors.
Work collaboratively with WWP teammates.
Utilize expense controls.
Serve as local representative.
Develop community support.
Present WWP vision and values.
Maintain data in electronic tracking systems.
Collect and report performance metrics.
Build relationships with nonprofit organizations.
Introduce WWP programs to warriors.
Meet warriors at bedside.
Assist recovery and transition process.
Attend required training and meetings.

Establish rapport with them and communicate the benefits of WWP programs and services provided for wounded warriors. * Recruit wounded warriors, family support members and other support members to participate in WWP events and activities. * Plan local or regional events and activities for the benefit of Alumni and their families and encourage them to participate and connect with other Alumni. * Coordinate details for and execute these Alumni e
