What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Current appropriate state licensure, Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification, Minimum of 9 months experience as a RN, Minimum of 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as a RN
Nice to Have
Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience
What You'll Do.
Provide and coordinate clinically competent care
and evaluate patient care
Delegate appropriate tasks to patient care staff
Participate in decision-making
Participate in quality improvement activities
Perform ongoing patient data collection and analysis
Document patient data in the medical record
Adjust or modify treatment plan as indicated
Supervisor or Physician
and document patient/family learning needs
Provide initial and ongoing education to patients and
Direct and provide hemodialysis therapy
Administer medications as prescribed
Document medical justification and effectiveness of medications
Initiate or assist with emergency response measures
Serve as a resource for health care team
Participate in staff training and orientation
Ensure correct laboratory collection procedures
Reschedule missed laboratory collections
Identify expected outcomes
Document and update nursing assessment and plan of
Ensure patient awareness related to transplant options
Complete CAP requirements to advance
