Must Have
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Current appropriate state licensure, Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification, Meet the practice requirements in the state, Minimum of 9 months experience as a RN, Minimum of 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as a RN

What You'll Do.
Perform ongoing patient data collection
Document patient data in medical record
Adjust treatment plan as indicated
Notify Team Leader or Physician
Assess patient/family learning needs
Provide initial and ongoing education
Direct hemodialysis therapy delivery
Administer medications as prescribed
Document medical justification and effectiveness
Initiate emergency response measures
Serve as health care team resource
Participate in staff training
Ensure correct laboratory procedures
Reschedule missed laboratory collections
Identify expected patient outcomes
Update nursing assessment and plan
Ensure patient awareness of options
Complete CAP requirements to advance
