**POSITION SUMMARY:** Under the supervision of the Outpatient Pharmacy Administrative Director and/or Pharmacy Manager, and according to department policies, and procedures, and guidelines, is responsible for the compounding and dispensing of prescribed pharmaceuticals. Responsible for checking all medication prior to dispensing and delivery. **Position: Outpatient Pharmacy** **Department: Crosstown Pharmacy** **Schedule: Per Diem** **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:** * Prepare or supervise the preparation of medication * Verify all patient information before filling a prescription * Compound prescribed medications, package and label * Performs quality checks on prescriptions for correct dosage, drug interactions, etc. * Provide consultation to customers upon filling a prescription.
