Industry & Context.
Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally., Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch., Heavier items require lifting in tandem, and/or using additional resources.
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3–5 years of experience in outdoor-living, landscaping, or building-materials sales with a proven record of driving results.
Nice to Have
A degree in hardscape design, landscape design, or a related field is a plus., Technical proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, strongly preferred., Working knowledge of terrain, slope, drainage, and familiarity with decking, outdoor kitchens, and lighting are a plus.
What You'll Do.
Drive sales by connecting with homeowners
Lead customer consultations and interpret site sketches.
Recommend materials and create tailored project solutions.
Develop design plans using hand sketches or CAD tools.
Manage projects from first conversation through order fulfillment.
Partner with store and merchandising teams.
Build and maintain a local network of pros.
Stay up to date on landscaping trends.
Apply a designer’s eye for aesthetics and layout.
Balance technical requirements like measurements and installation needs.
Share insights and customer feedback.
Support other team members when needed.

Partnering with store and merchandising teams to bring the Outdoor Concept experience to life.; Jumping in to support others, in any area of the store, when needed.
