Must Have
High School Diploma required, 40-hour HAZWOPER training completed and current, 5+ years environmental/hazardous waste management experience, Operations capacity in outbound waste or materials management, Basic proficiency in computer skills and software applications
Nice to Have
B.S. in an environmental-related field preferred, Demonstrate related equivalent work experience, Experience in hazardous waste industry, General knowledge of RCRA regulations, General knowledge of DOT regulations, Understanding of waste profiling, Understanding of waste tracking, Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to waste management, Understanding of safety protocols, Understanding of lockout/tagout protocols, Understanding of compliance protocols
What You'll Do.
Oversee outbound operations
Plan office production
Act as technical resource
Review outbound waste streams
Create accurate loads for shipment
Determine appropriate disposal method
Track all waste in compliance with policy
Track all waste in compliance with regulations
Coordinate handling of all outbound waste
Ship treated waste to permanent storage
Manage outbound shipping of treated waste
Maintain inventory in waste tracking system
Ensure daily production goals are met
Provide ad-hoc approvals to 3rd party facilities
Provide insights on waste receiving strategies
Provide insights on waste receiving methods
Offer recommendations for waste receiving improvement
Provide insights on lab testing strategies
Provide insights on lab testing methods
Offer recommendations for lab testing improvement
Stay updated on waste processing regulations
Stay updated on waste treatment regulations
Stay updated on industry standards
Provide expertise for cost management improvement
Provide recommendations for cost management improvement
Review Weekly Production summaries
