Full Job Description
****Job Description:**** The jobholder will take over the Outboard Equipment Design Engineer responsibilities as a System Design Responsible (SDR) for EFS (Emergency Floatation System), covering all the activities required for the design, integration, verification and validation (V&V), and certification of Outboard Equipments (mainly EFS but also other systems as Cargo Hook, Wipers) for NH90, including the following main tasks: * Participate in all the phases of the product, from specification to customer in-service support: conceptual and detail design, support to production (non-conformity assessment, etc.), support to testing activities, generation of evidence for certification/qualification purposes and customer support. * System compliance demonstration with respect to the allocated requirements: system/ subsystem design, problem analysis on system/subsystem/equipment level and for the definition and approval of the test equipment and test means. * Verify the compliance of a detailed design solution toward the baseline of validated requirements for a single system / sub-system / equipment. * Develop modifications and retrofits within timescales as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team. * Adapt design solutions to real Helicopter configuration in a brief period of time. * Define a Maintenance Program for the system / sub-system / equipment in accordance with general requirements. * Identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements. * Define milestones and reviews with associated maturity expectations aligned with program phases and gates. * Provide sufficient detailed data and information about system elements to enable the implementation consistent with architectural entities as defined in models and views of the system architecture and in accordance with the allocated requirements. * Work closely sharing bo
