Impact The OSP Engineer II / III plays a critical role in designing and supporting outside plant (OSP) telecommunications infrastructure. This position is responsible for engineering copper and fiber network facilities, ensuring designs meet company standards, industry regulations, and project budgets. The engineer supports the successful delivery of telecom services including Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH), Copper DSL, Metro-E Ethernet, TDM, SONET, and other fiber solutions. This role contributes to the reliability and expansion of telecom networks by preparing detailed engineering plans, conducting field measurements, coordinating with municipalities and stakeholders, and ensuring projects meet operational, financial, and regulatory requirements. Core Responsibilities Perform detailed OSP engineering tasks including estimating, analyzing, designing, and planning for copper and fiber cable networks including aerial, buried, and conduit systems. Develop engineering designs for poles, conduit routes, and buried facilities in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
