Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today's children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, have done some babysitting, this is the first time you're thinking about working with children, or anything in between, THIS is the role for you! Our service at Pakenham Springs is looking for a passionate Coordinato r to assist with managing the service and providing engagement programs for our primary-age children. This is a Permanent Part time opportunity offering 37.25 hours per week and 6 non contact admin hours, to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. The hours are Monday - Friday 6:30am-9:00am & 2:45pm-6:30pm. Plus additional admin hours. About the role Co-managing a team of Educators, you'll have the perfect balance of support and leadership opportunities. You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years, with the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. * Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! * Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents * Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management * Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration Who are we looking for? * Enjoy working with kids * Strong and clear communication * Team player with a desire to become a service leader * Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children * Austr
