Must Have
Medical degree (M. D. or D. O. ) from an accredited institution, Board certified/eligible at time of employment, Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment, DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority, Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association, Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship or substantial experience in complex trauma surgery

They work as part of a multidisciplinary team—including Emergency Physicians, Trauma Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, and Rehabilitation Specialists—to provide rapid assessment, surgical intervention, and recovery planning for traumatic orthopedic injuries. The Trauma Orthopedic Surgeon specializes in managing severe fractures, joint dislocations, soft tissue injuries, and other musculoskeletal trauma resulting from accidents, falls, or high-impact events. They perform advanced procedures such as fracture fixation, limb reconstruction, and soft tissue repair while guiding post-surgical rehabilitation to restore function and mobility.
