What You'll Do.
Assist physicians/physician assistants
Help patients during visit
Assist with minor procedures
Assist with casting/splinting
Perform suture/staple removal
Provide customer service
Assist with fracture reduction
Assist with dislocations
Apply plaster splints
Apply fiberglass splints
Apply preformed splints
Instruct patients on device care
Remove orthopedic devices
Obtain patient vital signs
Enter patient health history
Meet department initiatives
Meet department metrics
Prepare patients for visits
Perform indirect patient care
Perform direct patient care
Assist patients with activities of daily living
Prepare equipment for procedures
Assist providers in minor office procedures
Provide general assistance to provider
