Full Job Description

The Order Management Specialist manages purchase order processing for the Perishable Merchandising Store Support teams specific to produce, floral, meat and seafood purchase orders. The Order Specialist provides customer service to our vendor partners and customers through verifying PO accuracy, PO status and delivery updates and resolving PO vs invoice discrepancies. Order Management specialists work cross-functionally with procurement teams, logistics and transportation carriers, as well as accounts payables and receivables. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in order management systems and customer service. Order Management Specialists are crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining efficient operations in retail, manufacturing, or distribution environments. Key job responsibilities -Communicates with customers on PO delivery status -Resolves PO related issues -Fields vendor and customer inquiries -Maintains PO records -Processes required paperwork -Identifies and resolves PO vs invoice discrepancies Basic Qualifications: - 2+ years of supply chain management (e.g. logistics, inventory turn management, forecasting, operations) experience - Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in food production Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
