Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in health information management, Health Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience), 3–7+ years of HIM/coding experience in a healthcare setting, Hands-on experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) HIM modules, knowledge of medical coding systems (ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS), Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance standards, Experience with system implementation, optimization, or consulting engagements, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have
RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC certification, Cerner/Oracle Health certification in HIM or Revenue Cycle modules, Experience with revenue cycle processes and coding audits, Knowledge of clinical documentation improvement (CDI) workflows, Experience working in a consulting environment
