What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or 10+ years equivalent technical experience, 6+ years setting up, configuring, and using OCI cloud operational tools to ensure service level agreements and performance targets are met, and continued compliance with policies, standards, and guidelines, Experience with monitoring of OS/application-level metrics and related visualizations (OCI Monitoring, OCI Logging, Grafana, or similar), 4+ years of experience in Bash shell, PowerShell, as well as Java or Python, analytical skills with a logical mindset and problem-solving approach, Effective communication skills both orally and written with various audiences, Experience and proven ability to work remotely, Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance or higher, US Citizenship required
Nice to Have
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional certification, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Professional certification, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Operations Associate certification, ITIL certification or ITIL knowledge, Department of Veterans Affairs experience, Public Trust or higher clearance
What You'll Do.
Support federal clients in Cloud Operations to Enhance
and Maintain their Computing Capabilities across their Technical Landscape
Work with System Administrators when Supporting Application Teams
Work with Project Teams to Operate and Maintain (O&M) Applications hosted on OCI (including OCI GovCloud environments)
Utilize Automation Tools such as Terraform
or similar IaC tooling
Assist with Upgrading
and Configuring monitoring solutions (OCI Monitoring
or similar) for Windows and Linux servers
Create and maintain gold images and automation scripts
Assist with reporting on current infrastructure status
Document each application's production operations processes via a Production Operations Manual (POM)
