Ensure timely functioning of operating rooms
Ensure efficient functioning of operating rooms
Serve as primary liaison between staff and faculty
Follow through on White Board items
Assess clinical urgency of patients
Determine appropriate action for patients
Communicate changes to clinical staff
Communicate changes to faculty
Maintain manual Operating Room schedule
Assess Operating Room calls
Coordinate appropriate faculty
Coordinate appropriate staff
Initiate printing of patient call slips

Prioritizes critical patient cases and communication of emergency Operating Room changes and fluctuations. Ensures the timely and efficient functioning of this large and diverse suite of operating rooms and ectopic surgical locations through the flawless flow of communication. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** * Functions as the primary liaison between all levels of staff and faculty in and out of the Operating Room while demonstrating an elevated level of timely, efficient and diverse communication in a control desk of Operating Room and ectopic surgical locations.
