Eligibility Requirements

Favorable result on background check as required by state, physical activities to effectively perform essential job functions, frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), standing (50%), regular bending, stooping, and reaching (25–50%), lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs, constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology, visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus—is required 100% of the time, Occasional driving or climbing may also be necessary

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience, Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States, High school diploma or GED required

Nice to Have

Bilingual preferred, previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred

What You'll Do.

assist in providing a world class Total Patient Experience

handle a wide range of duties

using optical equipment to perform the initial testing needed to prepare a patient for an exam with an Optometrist

Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support

Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA

Practice urgency at all times placing value on a patient’s time

as well as the doctor’s time and schedule

Operate manual lensometer

autorefractor/keratometer

Follow scripting for testing equipment (photos

Clean all examination equipment including tonometer tip

General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by manager

Consistently creating a positive work environment by being team-oriented and patient-focused

Commitment to work hours that meet the needs of the business which may include weekends

schedule changes or an extended schedule
