We are looking for an optical testing engineer with experience across a broad spectrum of optical systems and technologies. The candidate should have a strong background in automation and optical analysis tools. The ideal candidate will have experience across the complete product life cycle, from design concept and research through development and new product introduction. In addition, customer interaction, technology roadmap development, and standards body activities will be required. _**Duties & Responsibilities**_ * Develop testing platforms and automate optical testing solutions for R&D and production. * Perform design verification and characterization of new products or components and generate reports. * Present test data, analysis, and recommendations to other R&D teams for discussion and feedback. * Assess testing coverage, cycle time, throughput, and efficiency, and provide recommendations on design for testing (DfT). * Provide technical support to test and verify optical systems required as part of the optical test and measurement instrument portfolio. * Support NPI and the transition of
