Team Summary At SQUAD, our Image Quality team is at the forefront of achieving exceptional imaging standards for various smart home security and IoT products. We take pride in one of the top image quality laboratories in Eastern Europe, delivering professional results in testing and enhancement. We are looking for an Optical expert to join our team. The team is responsible for research and development, test, and qualification of image quality and hardware parts for delivering superior camera products. Job Summary As an Optical Engineer you will search the solutions of non-trivial issues, work in the RnD lab and provide optical engineering support for lens modules and illumination sub-systems at design, analysis, and testing stages. Responsibilities Specify, design, select, and qualify optical elements for camera module Evaluate impact on the image quality of the camera from optical elements Explore and develop new metrology for complete evaluation of camera image performance Perform analysis and testing of illumination systems Collaborate with the hardware team to develop illumination sub-systems Qualifications and Skills BS, MS or Ph.
