What You'll Do.
Supervise waste handling activities
Ensure plant and personnel safety
Enforce safety procedures
Participate in selection of team members
Participate in development of team members
Participate in evaluation of team members
Supervise inventory compliance
Coordinate with vendors
Coordinate with transporters
Coordinate with treatment facilities
Provide housekeeping of waste handling areas
Ensure proper storage of process chemicals
Ensure proper handling of process chemicals
Direct off-loading operations
Ensure safe treatment of wastes
Ensure effective treatment of wastes
Collect waste samples
Analyze waste samples
Simulate truck samples
Make decisions consistent with waste profile data
Make decisions consistent with facility operating permits
Determine batch clearance approvals
Collect post-treatment samples
Notify personnel of maintenance requirements
Review RCRA manifests
Ensure personnel abide by safety rules
Ensure personnel abide by safety procedures
Train facility personnel on processing procedures
Participate in emergency response operations
Supervise 2 or more employees
Carry out supervisory responsibilities
Assign employee tasks
Direct employee tasks
Appraise employee performance
Address employee complaints
Resolve employee problems
