Knowledge of personnel management, operations, equipment, waste processing and recycling techniques, Knowledge of receiving, purchasing, work orders, special licenses, and DOT training, Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail, Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities
What You'll Do.
Designate duties and provide direction for a work shift
Ensure plant and personnel safety by enforcing safety procedures
Assist supervisors in coordinating personnel activities
Oversee inventory compliance and supplies maintenance
Coordinate with vendors
and treatment facilities
Provide housekeeping for waste handling/processing areas
Ensure proper storage and handling of process chemicals
Direct off-loading operations for material receipt
effective treatment of wastes
Make decisions consistent with waste profile data
Determine batch clearance approvals for filtering effluent
Collect post-treatment samples to determine suitability for disposition
Notify personnel of maintenance requirements
Review and sign RCRA manifests
Ensure personnel abide by safety rules and procedures
Train personnel relating to processing procedures
Escalate individual performance feedback to direct leader
Substitute for workers during absence or to relieve bottlenecks
Participate directly in emergency response operations
Perform other related duties as assigned

Assists supervisors in coordinating the activities of operations personnel; Coordinates with vendors, transporters, and treatment facilities; Notifies appropriate facility personnel of any maintenance requirements; Escalates individual performance feedback, positive and negative, to the direct leader in a timely manner; Participates directly in emergency response operations relating to activities conducted at the facility's site and transportation activities, both on and off-site, which involve the facility's equipment and personnel
