What You'll Do.
Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and procedures
Perform diagnostic tests such as visual acuity
Record patient medical history and information accurately
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Administer eye drops and medications as directed
Maintain examination rooms and equipment
Educate patients on eye care and treatment plans
Schedule patient appointments and follow-ups
