Must Have
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), One year of related experience and/or or equivalent combination of education and experience, HIPAA confidentiality standards
Nice to Have
Current Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification
What You'll Do.
Provide exceptional customer service
Display a professional attitude
Greet patients promptly
Anticipate Physician needs
Comply with company policies
Verify patient's information
Record patient's medical history
Record patient's current medications
Confirm purpose of visit
Record all data in EMR
Check condition of patient's eyes
Perform diagnostic tests
Document medical visits
Prepare patients for treatments
Open and close exam rooms
Keep rooms cleaned and stocked
Keep drug count up to date
