Ability to perform physically demanding work, Ability to lift up to 50 lb, Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, Exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, noxious odors, gases, chemicals and mechanical and electrical hazards, Ability to wear personal protective equipment including a respirator, Ability to work irregular hours, Ability to be on-call at all times, Perform work within hazardous waste and radiologically controlled areas, Perform work wearing required and appropriate personal protective equipment including anti contamination clothing and respiratory protection, Performs majority of work outdoors
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School diploma or equivalent, A minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy equipment, Washington State Well Drillers License for Resource Protection Well Construction, A minimum of 1 years' experience as a licensed driller conducting direct push drilling using similar drilling equipment, Valid driver’s license with a clean record, Evidence of insurability, Must be a U. S. citizen
Nice to Have
A 1-year certificate from a college or technical school, 40 Hour Hazardous Waste Worker training, Welding experience
What You'll Do.
Perform direct push drilling equipment operations
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Operate a variety of equipment
Conduct direct push subsurface investigations
Monitor and operate equipment
Operate equipment under direction
Comply with health and safety regulations
Wear personal protective equipment
Participate in procedure development
Operate power-driven equipment
Report need for mechanical adjustments
treat waste materials
Operate associated equipment
Perform maintenance on drilling rigs
Help secure waste containers
Conduct field drilling operations
Prepare Daily Activity reports
Operate Geophysical Logging equipment
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Perform operations work as part of a team; Work directly with client Field Work Supervisors and field staff; Participate in planning meetings
