What You'll Achieve.

accomplish results; ensure business objectives and labor requirements are met; ensure the customers' needs are being met; balancing financial, operating, quality, safety and asset targets; management of the location performance against metrics to meet and/or exceed assigned objectives; meeting and/or exceed assigned objectives; sustaining 65 standards in all relevant shop areas of responsibility; ensure all vehicles have required specifications in SAM; ensure all technicians are properly trained and qualified; TOPS plan is prioritized based upon Breakdown, Rework and Running Cost trends; ensure implementation of Quality Assurance Audit Corrective Action plans; meet and/or exceed local, state, federal, as well as customer requirements; Ensure Employee compliance with Safety and EPA regulations and requirements; ensuring shift/shop delivers against Net Maintenance Cost per Unit objectives; meet financial objectives; attain or exceed specified financial targets

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

H. S. diploma/GED required, 1-3 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment required, Maintenance and Technical experience in a shop environment required, Experience working in a heavy-duty truck repair shop or automotive repair shop is required

Nice to Have

Associate's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree preferred, Supervisory experience preferred, Experience with a Shop Management System preferred, Microsoft Office intermediate preferred, vehicle diagnostics/repair knowledge

What You'll Do.

Assists the Ops Manager/Sr. Ops Manager with operations and personnel

Accomplish results and ensure business objectives and labor requirements are met

Ensures customers' needs are met balancing financial

safety and asset targets

Manages location performance against metrics

Cross functionally trained to back up others within the shop

Responsible for work analysis

planning and scheduling

Responsible for scheduling and assigning work to technicians

Responsible for productivity tracking and optimization

Responsible for RO review and approval

Responsible for Triage of unscheduled customer drive-ins

Responsible for conducting yard checks

training and development of all personnel

Responsible for Performance Management of all assigned personnel

Responsible for customer relationship management

Responsible for customer communication protocol

Directs reports in maintaining appearance and maintenance of assigned location

Evaluates needs and makes recommendation for shop tooling and equipment

Assist in management and oversight of vehicle specifications

Responsible for Parts Inventory management

Responsible for Quality Inspections of PM & repairs

Perform breakdown root cause analysis

Ensure Cleanliness and quality of repair for all maintained vehicles

Accountable for maintenance of all relevant documentation

Ensure Employee compliance with Safety and EPA regulations

Responsible for ensuring shift/shop delivers against Net Maintenance Cost per Unit objectives

Responsible for cost control measures related to maintenance operations budget

Responsible for successful execution of Maintenance Initiatives

Responsible for Payroll

Purchase Order approval

and invoice reconciliation

Responsible for the customer bill back process

Responsible for ensuring proper documentation and explanation/ reporting of re·billable activity

Ensure data integrity in the Shop Management Online system

Performs other duties as assigned
