At least one year supervisory experience required, At least two years warehouse experience preferred, General knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc., Successful completion of all company warehouse training modules resulting in certification, Certified on all warehouse machinery, Must possess the general ability to use Windows based programs, Routine ability to retrieve and utilize available reports related to essential job activities
Nice to Have
Four year college degree preferred, At least two years warehouse experience preferred
What You'll Do.
Coordinate and manage multiple warehouse functions
Oversee warehouse operations in absence of Warehouse Manager
Supervise Distribution Supervisors
Analyze and resolve work problems
Review bills of lading of incoming merchandise
Review customer orders to plan work activities
Prepare truck driver's delivery schedule
Assign teammates to specific duties
Verify amounts of incoming merchandise
Store incoming merchandise
Assemble customer orders for delivery
Establish work schedules
Ensure schedules are correctly implemented
Assign jobs effectively
Ensure jobs are completed properly
warehouse teammates and other supervisors
Ensure all warehouse functions are completed timely and accurately
Screen and hire warehouse teammates
Ensure teammates receive appropriate training
Ensure efficient and safe operation of material handling equipment
Ensure efficient and safe operation of warehouse machinery
Interpret company policies to teammates
Enforce safety regulations
Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers
Conduct performance reviews
Recommend personnel actions

Team & Collaboration
Works with teammates to review bills of lading of incoming merchandise and customer orders to plan work activities.; Works with Warehouse Manager and Lead Driver to prepare truck driver's delivery schedule.; Works with non-warehouse departments such as Account Receivable, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure coordination of warehouse activities.
