About the Team: The Development Fleet Operations team is responsible for the safe testing and operation of the newest technologies. As an Operations Specialist you will contribute to the daily driving and testing of autonomous trucks, own the safety of the operation, and provide feedback on system performance and behaviors while hauling commercial freight. Responsibilities: Safely operate autonomous trucks on the public roads to support development testing and commercial pilot operations. Haul commercial freight between customer locations and/or meet points. Provide feedback on system performance to advance self-driving technology. Utilize internal tools on a smartphone/tablet to track work assigned and completed. Uphold industry-leading safety standards, remaining compliant with internal benchmarks. Remain alert and attentive while operating during extended stretches of autonomy.
