Must Have

Prior leadership experience managing production teams, 3–5 years raw meat processing experience, Experience in a USDA-regulated facility

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in business, Meat Science, Animal Science, Food Science, Engineering, or related field

What You'll Do.

Lead raw processing operations

Monitor yield performance

Ensure execution of daily production plans

Ensure compliance with USDA-FSIS regulations

Maintain control over CCPs

Lead USDA interactions

Partner with QA to investigate deviations

Own execution of raw meat processing SOPs

Ensure accuracy in formulations

Drive real-time corrective action

Conduct regular Gemba walks

Collaborate with Maintenance for equipment uptime

Prioritize and communicate mechanical needs

Support troubleshooting on equipment downtime

Ensure equipment is set up

Lead yield-improvement initiatives

Lead scrap-reduction initiatives

Lead throughput-enhancement initiatives

Standardize best practices across shifts

Conduct audits for sustainment

Support plant automation initiatives

Support process-change initiatives

Partner with Supply Chain for raw-material availability

Work with QA on food safety

Coordinate with Sanitation on hygienic zoning

This role oversees daily cut, grind, blend, stuffing, and raw‑material handling processes across all shifts.
