What They're Looking For.

Must Have

10+ years in a similar position, customer orientation, Ability to lead people and get results through others, Strategic planning, Process improvement and change management, Manufacturing systems development and deployment, Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and analysis

Nice to Have

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline

What You'll Do.

Oversee Medical manufacturing

HSE programs and site security

Manage areas of responsibility to ensure minimum costs

Prepare the Medical division to meet future growth

Work closely with Flex-Tek HSE Divisional Director

Implement Smiths Minimal Technical standards

Implement HSE policies and Cardinal Behaviors

Monitor leading Indicators and other objectives

Use statistical data to identify trends

Assist with remediation activities at applicable facilities

Employ outside or internal resources for HSE programs

Work with regulatory agencies to resolve issues

Be the liaison for Loss Prevention programs

Work closely with engineering to obtain new or revised standards

Oversee Medical inventory control and related transactions

Review operations and plans to meet sales planning requirements

Ascertain manufacturing or outsourcing requirements

Ensure standards for product quality are maintained

Ensure equipment and operator performance are maintained

Ensure cost-effective technology is used

Ensure fixed assets are preserved

monitor and report on operating costs

Provide notice of cost and labor overruns

Implement solutions to problems

Assure good employee relations

equitable disciplinary actions

Establish challenging targets for improvement

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Liaisons with customers on quality issues and growth opportunities; Works closely with Flex-Tek HSE Divisional Director; Works closely with engineering
