What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience, Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, 3+ years of employee and performance management experience, 3+ years of operations analyst, data analyst or similar role experience, 5+ years of operations management experience, Experience managing large teams (about 120+ indirect reports and 4+ direct reports), Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups), Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to Have
1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience, MBA and experience in Excel
What You'll Do.
Own and deliver the operational budget
Provide strategic level/long-term planning
Guide building culture according to leadership principles
Set clear goals and expectations for Operations and
Holds leaders accountable
Drive creation of quality initiatives
Drive creation of process change initiatives
Drive creation of other Lean initiatives
Take proactive steps to ensure best practices are
Work closely with support staff
Build and secure support and resources for projects
Provide needed support and resources for other network
Manage and motivate a team of leaders
Focus on long-term objectives
Create contingency plans
Mitigate against disruptions
Drive initiatives that boost quality
Drive initiatives that boost safety
