What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Experience leading a team of 50+ team members and leaders to deliver a safe, engaged and high‑performing operation, Previous experience leading teams in the retail industry or a large, high volume customer focused organisation, A passion for a Safe & Secure warehouse demonstrated through safety walks, audits and coaching, retail understanding, delivering results across sales, margin and wages, Ability to coach and develop Department Managers and team members to lift capability and drive performance, Experience leading stock integrity, including accuracy routines, investigations and stocktake, Ability to drive results through Customer Satisfaction and Team Engagement metrics
Nice to Have
Previous experience in leading teams with a focus on Safety and Wellbeing and Specialist products, an interest in DIYuilding industry

Reporting directly to the Complex Manager you and your team of 180+ will be efficient, organized and be the go-to for location for our loyal customers and internal sales teams. In the team you will be supported by experienced Department Managers and their respective teams of Supervisors, Team Members and Forklift Drivers whilst it is also encouraged to engage with local stores, Trade and Distribution Centres to contribute to the success of the wider area group. Within your leadership team you will have experienced Department Managers focused on such departments as Service, Inside the Home, Builders, Timber Yard and Lifestyles & Garden – though a knowledge of all is not required an interest in DIY/Building industry is recommended. Your role will help drive the future Bunnings Warehouse in the local area, by developing strategies and business plans that support the overall long-term growth of your Warehouse. You will be required to monitor and measure customer service levels, liaise with the Commercial Sales teams, Distribution Centres, Fulfilment Centres and Bunnings Support Office.
