Must Have
Experience managing people, Experience managing Health & Safety within a unionised environment, Proven experience working towards clearly defined service delivery KPIs, Demonstrable experience of resource management, Demonstrable experience of cost control, Experience using route planning systems
Nice to Have
CPC qualification, Local geographical knowledge, Understanding of transport legislation, Understanding of working within a time critical service environment, Waste industry knowledge, Knowledge of relevant legislation
What You'll Do.
Provide leadership to traffic dispatcher team
Monitor depot KPI performance
Support operational management of daily depot activities
train and develop operational teams
Address underperformance appropriately
Manage absence processes
Support mobilisation planning for new work
Resolve routing and service issues efficiently
Contribute to cost control initiatives
Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
Deputise for the Depot Manager
