Manager, Reconditioning Position Overview: The Reconditioning Manager will lead a multi-departmental team to ensure single threaded leadership of the overall reconditioning operation to deliver on customer expectations using ADESA/Carvana processes for our mechanic, body, and detail shops. Responsible for directly managing and developing our reconditioning team to ensure consistent processes and high level of quality and output. This role is not visa eligible. What you’ll be doing: Lead the Mechanic, Body, and Detail Teams: Lead the recon shop teams to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability through consistent achievement of KPI targets. Maintain and apply a strong working knowledge of reconditioning processes, industry best practices, customer SLA’s and ADESA/Carvana standard processes. Ensure adequate production capacity levels for each line and assist with production planning. Provide vision and guidance to the reconditioning teams in meeting performance metrics. Positively reinforce and engage the team regarding quality, production and cost objectives. Teams Led: All team members in the Mechanic, Body, and Detail Shops. All Manager Roles: Lead auction activities to drive retention, profitability, customer experience, and safety. Monitor and ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards. Influence and lead others as a people, customer, and business manager. Engage with customers and employees in a transparent, reliable, and positive manner Participate in the development and execution of strategic plans, goals, processes, and objectives, ensuring alignment with those of the company.
