Trouble Shooting (Routes, Water Quality Issues)
Outdoor environment, frequent bending, keyboarding, telephone operation, irregular work schedule, overtime hours, hazardous environments, protective equipment, physical discomfort, confined spaces, ladders, rooftops, adverse weather conditions, work with chemicals, machinery, moving mechanical parts, stand, walk, or move 6 to 8 hours daily, sit for 1 to 3 hours daily, manual dexterity, precision movements, continuous or repetitive arm and hand movements, grasping movements, occasional forceful exertion, moderate physical effort, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lift, carry, push/pull objects and materials: regularly up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 40 pounds, Perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors, sounds, odor, depth and visual cues or signals, Visual and muscular dexterity to operate a motor vehicle, operate equipment, hand tools, computer, operate a variety of standard office equipment, computer terminal, telephone, work in confined spaces, at elevations, wear hearing protection, fulfill on-call responsibilities, wear a respirator, working in inclement weather conditions, Moderate exposure to dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, temperature and noise extremes, hazardous materials and chemicals, machinery, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, and water hazards, On Call Rotation
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Maintenance Management Programs, other job-related specific systems, High School Graduate or Equivalent, Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the operation of customer service, Possess a valid Driver’s License, Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check, pre-placement physical, drug screen before employment
What You'll Do.
Change out water meters
Meet with customers about issues
Perform locates of water and sewer lines
Perform operations/maintenance and housekeeping
Manage water meter inventory
Troubleshoot routes and water quality issues
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
Perform utility locates
Perform service orders
Comply with all company Health and Safety procedures
