ABOUT THE JOB The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of goods from suppliers to customers. This role ensures shipments are delivered on time, documentation is accurate, costs are controlled, and logistics operations comply with company policies and customs or transportation regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, and suppliers. - Track shipment status and proactively resolve delays, documentation issues, or delivery problems. - Prepare and manage shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, and customs documents. - Communicate with internal teams including purchasing, sales, warehouse, finance, and customer service. - Monitor logistics costs and support freight quotation, cost comparison, and invoice verification. - Maintain accurate shipment records in ERP, TMS, WMS, or internal tracking systems. - Support import/export customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with trade regulations. - Manage delivery schedules, inventory movement, and warehouse coordination. - Identify process improvements to reduce cost, improve delivery performance, and increase operational efficiency. - Prepare regular logistics reports including shipment status, lead time, cost, and issue tracking.
