Job Description: _Primarily responsible for assuring all procedures are followed in achieving the highest level of productivity in the most cost-efficient manner possible while still maintaining customer specifications. Direct and lead a team of employees ensuring compliance with all food safety programs and enforcing Shenandoah Valley Organic policies. Responsible for employees’ performance development safety and work schedule._ ### Responsibilities: * Assist Supervisor on getting the Grasselli Department started daily on time. * Fill in as needed at any position to ensure a consistent product flow. * Assist Supervisor with Production paperwork as needed. * Respond to USDA inspectors and their concerns in a timely and correct manner. * Help train new team members and monitor their performance. * Perform production checks to ensure the department is performing to standards. * Assist other supervisors and managers with issues in other departments in the plant. ### Job Requirements: * Excellent attendance is required of all applicants. * Person selected must know or be willing to learn all the jobs in the department. * Basic math and reading skills. * Ability to do paperwork as needed. * Proven performance and positive attitude. * Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds. * Other Job Duties as needed Farmer Focus is committed to the principles of equal employment and to complying with all federal, state, and local laws providing equal employment
