The Opportunity Come and discover the opportunity to join our Coke Plant 2 Operations team is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join the team in Port Kembla. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers. The Cokemaking process is an integral part of our manufacturing operations and is one of the first steps in creating Iron and Steel. At Coke Plant 2 (CP2), we ensure the safe and reliable coke production to deliver world class coke quality. Here, we oversee the 7 battery Coke ovens operations, the Coal Handling operations and the Coke Handling operations. In this role you will oversee the 7 Battery Coke ovens production area by supporting, coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations. As well managing long term business improvement initiatives, ensuring your team is focused on the delivery of exceptional Safety, Environment and Operational Excellence performance. You will assist the Coke Plant 2 Operations Manager and shift operations team to lead and manage the team’s success through their performance and productivity to ensure our business plan objectives and targets are continually met.
