ABOUT ONYX Onyx is an online prediction platform poised to shake up the world of sports. Onyx has seen immense growth in user activity and strong engagement across product and marketing, driving continued expansion of the team. Founded by Harvard graduates with a background at Jane Street, Onyx is headquartered in downtown Manhattan.   THE ROLE: We’re hiring an Operations Analyst to help support the continued rapid growth of Onyx. This is a highly visible, hands-on role focused on platform monitoring, data analysis, issue identification, and operational excellence in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytically minded, passionate about the sports world, and excited to wear multiple hats while helping build an industry-defining company.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Monitor general platform activity and develop a deep understanding of how users interact with all offerings available on our menu - Analyze platform and user data alongside the Customer Success team to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement - Assist the Trading team by reporting pricing discrepancies, assessing market performance, and overseeing platform liability - Flag and escalate platform bugs, data inconsistencies, and internal system concerns - Support ad hoc finance and regulatory projects, including, but not limited to, policy editing, tax organization, and administrative responsibilities - Storyboard process adjustments that increase efficiency and optimize user experience   WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 2+ years of professional experience is preferred, but recent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply - Passion for sports gaming, fantasy sports, prediction markets, or related industries - Exceptional attention to detail with a customer-first mindset - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of SQL - Ability to accurately investigate root causes and propose solutions independently - Strong communicat
