What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree (BBA or BS) in Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline, Three (3+) years of Oil and Gas accounting experience, Three (3+) years of experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

Nice to Have

Accounting degree preferred, SAP experience preferred, High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, Good problem solving and critical thinking skills, Ability to operate both independently and as part of a team, Flexible regarding workload and priorities, Ability to pick up on new concepts with guidance, Effective communication skills to work with all levels of the organization, Possess a positive and team-oriented attitude

What You'll Do.

Prepare and calculate monthly LOE accruals

Review and analyze net LOE trends

Evaluate LOE for potential coding errors

Analyze and explain monthly LOE variance

Assist with preparation of monthly LOE presentation slides

Prepare monthly account reconciliations

Other duties or ad hoc projects as assigned

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Collaborate with Operations on needed information; Assist Operations with their accounting questions; Work with all levels of the organization
