Full Job Description
The Canada Operations 1st Line Risk and Controls team is seeking an experienced, highly capable individual to join the team as **BC Coordinator, BCM Operational Resilience**. This role supports Canada Operations by facilitating day‑to‑day execution of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) lifecycle, including hands‑on development, testing, review, and maintenance of Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), and related BCM artifacts. The successful candidate will operate independently with minimal oversight, applying strong practical experience across BIA and BCP development, BCM testing, and lifecycle maintenance. This role plays a critical part in supporting the execution and adoption of Manulife’s enhanced BCM Standard and OSFI E‑21 Operational Resilience expectations. Success in the role will require strong facilitation, analytical thinking, and communication skills, as well as the ability to translate BCM standards and recovery concepts into practical, executable plans for non‑technical audiences across Canada Segment. **Position Responsibilities:** * Facilitate day‑to‑day BCM activities for assigned Operations processes in support of Business Continuity Plan and Process Owners. * Develop, review, and update BIAs to accurately reflect process criticality, impacts, dependencies, and recovery requirements. * Develop, review, and maintain BCPs aligned to BIAs, including documented contingency and recovery strategies, roles, and communications. * Lead BCM testing activities for assigned processes, including Simulations, Tabletop, Alternate Site, and Notification exercises. * Plan, coordinate, and facilitate testing execution, including participant readiness, exercise logistics, and completion of required testing objectives. * Analyze testing results and ensure BCPs are updated to reflect lessons learned, identified gaps, and validated recovery assumptions. * Maintain complete, accurate, and current BCM artifacts and testing evidence in t
