What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Material Science, or a related field, 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, Familiarity with production workflows, process standardization, and quality improvement techniques, Experience with tools such as Six Sigma, 5S, and failure analysis, analytical thinking and problem-solving ability, Ability to train, coach, and influence team members, Effective communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Nice to Have
Experience in steel manufacturing or heavy industrial environments, Exposure to processes such as scrap handling, melting, casting, rolling, maintenance, or finishing, Previous involvement in leadership, facilitation, or supervisory roles, Understanding of complex engineering systems and business processes
What You'll Do.
Track and evaluate operational metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Support departments in establishing and achieving performance targets
Lead improvement efforts focused on efficiency
and process consistency
Facilitate training on improvement tools
Coach team members on applying continuous improvement techniques in daily operations
Participate in and support structured improvement events
Work with multiple departments on initiatives such as audits
and process standardization
Identify recurring operational challenges and implement corrective actions
Assist in the development and execution of annual improvement roadmaps
Support capital improvement (CAPEX) projects and related initiatives
Develop and implement process standards tied to improvement efforts and capital investments
Provide cost estimates and assist in evaluating project feasibility
Provide guidance on process optimization and system enhancements
Support internal communication

Participate in safety initiatives and reinforce compliance with workplace safety standards
