What You'll Achieve.
Maintain 100% Up-time of all data center systems

Analyze the operation of various systems; Determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions; Take corrective action as required
Walking large, campus-like settings, Frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, Lifting a minimum of 50 lbs, Climbing stairs and navigating rooftops to access equipment, Using ladders up to 30 ft and working from heights, Ability to Climb a ladder with a 300-lb weight limit, Must be able to work different schedules, Must be able to work Holidays, Must be able to respond to site emergencies, Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4+ years related work experience, Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills, Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations and codes, Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, Ability to speak effectively before small groups of tenants or fellow employees, Working knowledge or the capability of developing proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Access and any other software packages, Must be able to professionally interact with tenants and contractors
Nice to Have
Corrigo Experience, MCIM / Salesforce Experience, Zendesk Experience, Service Now Experience, Hands-on experience working in a data center/critical facility, including UPS
What You'll Do.

Perform preventive maintenance on all systems
Ensure continuous operation of all data center systems
Monitor operation and adjust equipment
Record readings and make adjustments
Monitor building management systems
Respond to alarms and alerts promptly
Analyze system operations and determine cause of malfunctions
Take corrective action as required
Comply with departmental policy for hazardous materials
Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Learn and understand data center site
Manage incidents and events
Perform work order management
Comply with emergency escalation procedures
Perform additional job duties as required

Job Description ** _Summary_** The Operating Engineer S3 - Critical Environments will have a strong focus on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on all systems. Individuals are expected to demonstrate technical expertise in one craft area (Electrical, HVAC, Piping/Plumbing, Central Utility Plant Operations) and be multi-skilled in others in order to successfully complete daily/weekly work assignments. **_Principal Duties and Responsibilities_** Task will include but not be limited to: * Responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all data center systems to maintain 100% Up-time including: fire/life safety, mechanical systems such as (HVAC, chillers, crac, crah, plumbing, controls), electrical including emergency backup systems such as (lighting, UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, power distribution, transformers), and hot water systems.
