What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED equivalent, 2–4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems, Ability to analyze the operation of commercial or industrial Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems, identify root causes of malfunctions, and take corrective action, Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, Physical ability to bend, sit, kneel, squat, stand, reach, and lay for extended periods to access equipment ability to work in varying environmental conditions including heat, cold, and outdoor exposure
Nice to Have
EPA 608 Universal / CFC Universal Certification, Two or more years of trade school education in electrical systems, refrigeration, or HVAC, Accredited trade school degree or union training and certification in an industry-related trade, Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as Corrigo, Knowledge of proper and safe use of tools including ladders, lifts, volt meters, manual drain augers, and related equipment, Experience evaluating vendors and verifying accuracy of deliveries for count, pricing, and description
