What They're Looking For.

Must Have

minimum 5 years of experience operating hydronic boiler and chiller systems, State or local boiler operator license, EPA 608 Universal Certification, Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment, Proficiency in welding, pipefitting, pump/motor repair and rebuild, and mechanical alignment techniques, Ability to analyze complex commercial/industrial systems, diagnose problems, and implement corrective solutions, Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and CMMS systems, Physical capability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays in various industrial conditions

Nice to Have

Technical or trade school certification in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC technology, Knowledge of vibration analysis tools, cooling tower operations, and wastewater treatment systems, OSHA 10 or 30 certification with understanding of safety protocols and hazard recognition, Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals, Familiarity with EPA regulations, environmental compliance practices, and regulatory documentation requirements
